Meet The Artist!

          Meriam Essa is a multi-media artist and a certified K-12 art educator, graduated from Kean University with a BA in Art Education. 

          Through her art, Meriam explores ideas of intrigue, surreality, and the absurd. One of her inspirations is Afarin Sajedi, a contemporary Iranian artist that takes seemingly simple subject matters and creates fantasy, dreamlike pieces. Meriam is a representational academic artist whose art explores contemporary everyday surroundings.

          Meriam has had a natural instinct for creating since her early childhood, and it has since transformed into her passion for mature fine arts making. Her love for creating has also manifested into her love for teaching visual arts. 

          Meriam also works as a commercial freelance artist. Through her large-scale paintings, drawings, and murals, Meriam provides her clients with the ideal artistic outlet for their visions.
